Spring Concert

Congratulations to the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble for a great performance yesterday at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts! Thanks to everyone who attended the concert. We would not have a strong "tree" without you. :)

Spring Concert this Sunday

The Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will be presenting their Spring Concert this Sunday at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts.  The concert will begin at 3:00pm with the doors opening at 2:30pm. Seating is General Admission.  Please contact Mrs. Christensen or a Band member and send in $10 for the remaining tickets by this Friday.  We hope to see you at the concert!

Congratulations Varsity and JV Color Guard!

Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Color Guard on their outstanding performances this past Saturday at Championships!  Varsity won the Silver Medal for their class and JV won the Bronze Medal in their division.  Great job!

Combined band rehearsal Friday

This Friday from 2:45-5:00pm both Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will be having a combined rehearsal in the band room. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows!

Spring Concert - Sunday, April 29, 2012 3pm

Our Band Spring Concert on Sunday, April 29th 3:00pm at the Poway, Center for the Performing Arts is rapidly selling out. There will not be tickets available at the door, so please contact a band member or myself if you would like to reserve and purchase a $10 ticket for this great concert. Tickets most likely will be gone by the middle of next week, so please do not delay in your support of the Wind Ensemble and Concert Band.

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a good week off of school and now we are back in full swing preparing for our Spring Concert on Sunday, April 29th at 3pm at the Poway, Center for the Performing Arts, Statewide testing, AP testing, and everything that will fall in between.

This week we have our regular bell schedule, but starting next Wednesday, the 18th, we will begin a block schedule for approximately 4 weeks. Please look at Mira Mesa High School's website for the testing calendar.
