I'd like to thank ALL the parents and guardian who came to the PBO meeting tonight! It shows tremendous support to see so many of you in the room.  Thank you for your thoughts and opinions. Please keep thinking of new ideas to raise funds for the program.

Panda Express Fundraiser Thursday

Feel like eating at Panda Express?  Hopefully you do on Thursday, February 28th.  You, your family, friends, neighbors, and anyone else you know can go to the Panda Express location on Mira Mesa Blvd across the parking lot from Kohl's.  Just click on the flyer below and bring it with you when you place your order.  The fundraiser runs from 12noon to 10:00pm.  Every little order helps our program!

Busy schedule for this week: Feb. 25 - Mar. 1

Many of us have a busy schedule this week, so here it goes:

Monday - Read Across America rehearsal afterschool
Tuesday - Minimum Day (Block 1, 3, 5)
     * PE Testing for ALL 9th graders, 10th-12th graders at 12:40pm
     * Musical Rehearsal 12:45-2:45pm
     * Honor Orchestra Winds and Percussion rehearsal 3:30-5:00pm
     * Full Honor Orchestra Rehearsal 6:00-9:00pm
Wednesday - Minimum Day (Block 2, 4, 6)
     * Finish PE Testing at 12:40pm
Thursday
     * Dudley's Bread Pick-up at the Parent Meeting
     * Parent Meeting from 7:00-8:00pm
Friday
     * Host 7 Color Guards in Gym from 6:00-9:00pm

Monday - No School
Tuesday - Jazz Band - 7th Per., Honor Band & Orchestra Reading Session, 6-9pm
Wednesday - Musical Rehearsal, 2:45-4:45pm
Thursday - Jazz Band - 7th Per., Color Guard night rehearsal 5-9pm
Friday - Regular Schedule

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Jake Boring for being selected to the All-State Honor Band!  His concert is on Sunday at the Fresno Convention Center.  Come take a drive and support Jake!

Friday - No School.  Pit Orchestra rehearsal 9am-12:30pm

All-Southern Honor Band Concert Today

The SCSBOA All-Southern Honor Band concert is today at 1:00pm at the University of Redlands.  Come up to Riverside and support Jake Boring in the concert.  Congratulations, Jake!

Nice start, Color Guard!

The JV and Varsity Color Guards teams began their indoor season yesterday at Olympian HS in Chula Vista.  Both groups got off to a great start by placing second each!  This should be a terrific season for the Mira Mesa HS Color Guard!

Dudley's Bread

It's time again for Dudley's Bread!  Order a great selection of breads or pies from any Band or Color Guard student through this coming Tuesday, February 12th.  All items will be available for pick up on Thursday, February 28th at the next Parent Meeting at 7pm.
