All Band and Color Guard students marching in the 4th of July Parade in Mira Mesa are to meet behind Seafood City market off of Mira Mesa Blvd. no later than 10:30am tomorrow morning.
Band students need to arrive with their instruments (no cases) and be wearing their black pants, black socks, black shoes, and blue shirts. (Shirts will be given out Tuesday at the end of rehearsal.)
Color Guard will meet at the high school by 9:30am in their white t-shirts, black shorts, and white shoes and will walk as a group over to the parade line-up.
Any student needing to transport large marching equipment (Tubas, Drumline, etc.) will need to meet in the Band Room no later than 9:30am to load equipment.
The parade begins at approximately 11:00am and begins on Greenford and Mira Mesa Blvd. The parade continues west bound on Mira Mesa Blvd, turns right onto Camino Ruiz and will end behind the Mira Mesa library. Please pre-arrange to meet your student in a designated location. All students who have large equipment that was pre-loaded before the parade are required to head back to the Band Room after our performance in the parade. We are 7th out of 65 units in the parade, so we will be through at approximately 12:00-12:30pm.
Hope to see you tomorrow cheering us on!
